Characteristics

The horizontal oscillating haul-off unit is positioned at the upper collapsing and haul-off section of the blown film line. By continuously reciprocating the haul-off mechanism, it changes the collapsing direction of the film bubble. This action distributes circumferential film thickness variations evenly across the roll width during winding, preventing localized thickness buildup and significantly reducing gauge bands, ridges, and uneven roll profiles to improve overall roll uniformity and winding quality.
Combined with proper collapsing and film guiding mechanisms as well as precise tension control, it ensures smooth flattening and conveying of the film while minimizing wrinkles and unwanted creases. The film guiding system maintains a fixed film discharge direction throughout the rotation process, feeding the film smoothly into the winding system to provide optimal processing conditions and stable unwinding for downstream printing, slitting, and bag-making operations .
