Common Rail is now the most common fuel system in diesel vehicles. Diesel engine performance

and emissions are closely related to fuel atomization and spray processes, which in turn are

strongly influenced by nozzle geometry.

Injection nozzles for diesel engines inject the fuel into the combustion chamber, atomize it

and seal the combustion chamber by means of the nozzle needle. In the Common Rail System, the

injection nozzle is part of the injector.



What is the purpose of the injector valve on a generator?
The fuel injector of a diesel generator is an important component in the fuel supply system

of a diesel engine to achieve fuel injection. Its function is to atomize the fuel into fine

droplets according to the characteristics of the diesel engine mixture and inject it into the

specific combustion chamber.

How does a fuel injector valve work?
Injection valves comprise a valve body, which houses a magnet winding and a guide for the

nozzle needle, and a nozzle needle with magnet armature. When the control unit applies

voltage to the magnet winding, the nozzle needle rises up from its valve seat and releases a

precision bore hole.
