According to the result of the sample survey of domestic tourism released by China National Tourism Administration, by the end of the the first half of 2017, the number of both overseas and domestic tourists in China was about two billion, which was 13.5% increased over the same period of last year. The number of Chinese citizens who went abroad for visiting has reached 62 million, which which was 5.1% increased over the same period of last year. The quantity of domestic hotels has been more than 0.24 million by the end of 2016, among which the number of branded hotels was about 24,150.
