For environmental protection concern, Hiwin Technologies Corp. developed Ecological & Economical lubrication module: E2 series. It can successfully reduce the space requirement for lubricator, reduce the maintenance care, prevent from oil leakage. It's an ideal solution for automation, semiconductor equipment and photonics. E2 series features:
1.Portable design: E2's lubricator adopts hoof-shaped design, light weight, portable, requires no additional space and no need for complex piping.
2.Humanize design: Hiwin's patented oil cartridge use transparent design, allow user to check on the oil level and requires no tools to replace the oil.
3.Economical design: E2 series implement capillary action for lubricator design, the lubrication oil lubricates only on the contact point.
4.Ecology: Without piping joint in E2 design, there is no oil leaking and waste disposal problem. E2 oil cartridge can be reuse and refill, and the lubricator material also passes RoHS Directive.
Using a ballscrew equipped with E2 module for motion test, a tank full of lubrication oil(50cc) can supply ballnut to travel over 15,000 km.
The superb performance of E2 series had granted numbers of patents from major industrial countries; includes 12 in Taiwan, 1 in US, 4 in Germany, 3 in Korea, and applications in China and Japan are also in progress. The sale of E2 series had reached 100 millions NT since its introduction in 2005, and we expect E2 can generate sales up to 160 million NT in 2008.
