Characteristics
High purity porous-alumina refractory bricks are made from 99.9% super high purity alumina by foaming technique without any binding agent. They are low density, light weight, low thermal conductivity, high strength, high temperature resistance and adjustable dielectric constant. They are widely used in aeronautic and astronautic field, ultra high temperature equipments and tools for sintering transparent ceramics and synthesizing high purity materials.
Over 99.9% purity of alumina, the refractoriness of them can be up to 1850℃ and remain good performance in the air under high temperature. They can provide a clear sintering environment with no vaporized impurity.
Their energy saving effect is obviously huge by low heat capacity and less heat accumulation.
The foamed structure can disperse thermal stress effectively to intensify the structure toughness and service duration.
They are easy to reformed by the foamed structure
