Characteristics
The metal-coated gasket is made by filling with flexible graphite, ceramic fibers, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), asbestos and non-asbestos plates, and then covering with various metal sheets such as stainless steel, galvanized iron, and copper. It is particularly suitable for sealing parts in high-temperature and high-pressure equipment such as heat exchangers and pressure vessels. It effectively prevents the gasket from disintegrating and protects the medium from erosion. At the same time, it enhances the pressure resistance.
