Characteristics

The straight knife grinder will help operator to grind unsmooth multi-knives to achieve extremely smooth knives. The grinding processes are computer controlled. Operator only needs to enter parameters combined with adjustment, and an excellent cutter can be achieved. This allows customer to produce excellent wood products. Before grinding, install knives to be ground in the cutterhead. Fit the cutterhead into the arbor, which is fixed by the arbor supports. The machine is driven by two servo motors combined with hydraulic system for consistent knife angles and outside diameter for all cutterheads. The slide is support by shaft and its reciprocating movement is driven by a hydraulic cylinder to ensure excellent grinding quality. If required, the slide movement can be manually controlled. The cooling system provides proper coolant for grinding operation, which may effectively prevent knife from burning and remove powder and dusts during grinding.
