Exhibition Introduction

CIMIF is the only international machinery industry exhibition in Cambodia. Market Analysis

In recent years, Cambodia has emerged as one of the most dynamic new markets in ASEAN. In 2024, its manufacturing sector grew by 9.7%, with more than 2,300 manufacturing enterprises nationwide, indicating a rapidly expanding industrial chain. Cambodia’s overall GDP grew by around 6% in 2024, and is expected to maintain 5.5–5.8% growth in 2025, with the manufacturing and industrial sectors continuing to play a key role in driving the economy.

 

On the import side, Cambodia brought in machinery and components worth USD 1.73 billion in 2023, with “industrial machinery” ranking among the country’s top ten import categories. Demand continues to rise, especially as the industrial structure shifts from traditional garment manufacturing towards non-garment sectors such as electronics, auto parts, and solar energy, driving broader needs for machinery, automation, and components.

 

At the same time, foreign investment is steadily flowing in, while the government actively promotes special economic zones, FTAs, and the RCEP framework, creating a favorable environment for industrial growth.

 

Against this backdrop, CIMIF 2026 – Cambodia International Machinery Industry Fair is the best platform to enter or expand in the Cambodian market.
