Three Axes Box Ways Ruggedly, Stable, Precision!
Rigid Machine Structure
The rigid machine structure is an optimized equilateral triangle design. Provided with 8-16 adjustment bolts (varied with models) for sufficient support points and ensuring machine stability for heavy loads.
Axes travels are transmitted by high precision ball screws to achieve excellent dynamical leveling. The load is fully supported by slide ways. The Y-axis has 4 ways as standard equipment.
The rigid base with uniform load distribution and massive construction creates a stable support. Machine accuracy is not affected by variation of foundation or leveling.
Box ways on 3 axes are hardened and precision ground. All way surfaces are precision scraped and coated with TURCITE-B. An automatic forced lubrication system is applied to increase slide ways accuracy and service life.
Z-axis equipped with a counter- balance weight, providing smooth motions for headstock rapid traverse and micrometric feed.
3 axis ball screws are directly driven by servo motors to eliminate backlash.
Fully Enclosed Way Guide; Well protected slide ways prevent coolant and chip chips from entering. This feature provides safely guard for slide ways and extends the machine life.
Uniform lubrication points on slide ways. The machine employs a volumetric lubricator for consistent oil flow to each point, assuring a uniform lubrication effect an each slide way.
Class C3 ball screws on 3 axes are pretension to eliminate backlash and thermal elongation that provides outstanding positioning and repeatability accuracy.
High Precision 3-Dimensional Coordinate Measuring
All structural parts of the machine are precisely inspected by the sophisticated 3-dimensional coordinate measuring machine(CMM), that assure outstanding parts accuracy for assembling.
High-tech Precision Inspection
Each machine is subject to high-tech precision inspections, such as laser unit and Reni Shaw ball bar tester to guarantee the best possible repeatability and positioning accuracy.
The counter balance is equipped with guide rod, assuring that spindle cutting of rapid transverse are more stable and faster, without vibration, and with high accuracy.
Rigid, Precise Spindle
The box type spindle stock is of a rigid construction and is scientifically rib reinforced. The spindle runs on high precision angular contact bearings for heavy cutting, providing optimal spindle rigidity and machining accuracy.
Minimum dynamic vibration is 0.002mm
Outstanding Lubrication System
Equipped with lubricator for outstanding lubrication performance which ensures slide ways accuracy and service life.
Well designed lubrication system and precision scraping assure high slide ways accuracy without sticking problems.
All lubrication points are provided with a detection feedback system for pressure and breakage, which assures a normal lubrication condition at all times.
The oil grooves feature pressure relief to eliminate floating problems due to excessive oil pressure that may affect machining accuracy.
Oil Cooling Diagram
The oil cooling tubes are connected to the spindle motor adaptor and the spindle, which solves thermal displacement problems while assuring high accuracy of machining at all times.
Oil Cooling Through Ball Screws(Option)
Consistent Positioning Accuracy: The forced cooling system may eliminate thermal expansion of ball screw due to heat generation. This guarantees consistent positioning accuracy.
Avoid Parts Deformation: All ball screws support bearing or structural parts deformation because ball screws thermal expansion is eliminated.
Save Warming-up Time: The minimized temperature growth of ball screw effectively shortens warming-up time.

Tool Magazine
The magazine type provides a choice of 24-tool cam drive ATC.
Increased magazine lading capacity of 30 or 40 tools are available.(opt. for TBV-1685)
The magazine features stable and fast tool change, easy operation and easy maintenance.
Floating Tool Release System
The Specially designed floating tools release will absorb the impact force create by tool knocking cylinder when performing tool release. This feature eliminates impact on spindle bearings while extending the spindle service life.
The arm type gantry features be-directional random tool selection. Increased tool loading capacity increases machining efficiency. The magazine provides a loading capacity of 24 tools (Standard). Tool change can be accomplished in only 3.5 sec. (60Hz)/4.0 sec. (50Hz). Maximum tool weight is 7kgs (BT40)/15 kgs (BT50). Maximum tool length is 300mm.
Oil / Coolant Separation
The oil / coolant separation feature keeps the machine clean and provides a high quality working environment. It also extends service life of coolant, helps to meet environmental protection requirements and upgrades machining quality.
